31 Day Challenge-Day 3:Color Yellow

Can I start this off by saying I HATE the color yellow lol! To me it's just such an ugly color i don't know why, however that doesn't stop me from buying them which is stupid, I guess I am hoping to find a yellow I will actually like, Oh Well the search continues. Today's Yellow polish is Catrice-Twist Of Lemon

Polish Used:
Catrice-Twist Of Lemon
Description:A Shimmer packed sunshine yellow that requires at least 3-4 coats for no VNL.
For the Splatter I Used Acrylic Paints-White,Black-Purple,Yellow

-Sorry I Have No Picture of the color on It's own I forgot to take one before the splatter!
Can I just say that doing this splatter mani was a pain in the A** seriously way to messy.

Have you tried the splatter Mani yet? if so what are some suggestion for a Less messy way to do it?
On another note i'm in the mood to play some relaxation nature sounds music and sleep!! lol anyways....

  1. These are pretty! I've tried one splatter mani (Dexter inspired) but it did not come out well, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Yours look awesome, but the mess is a pain. Taping your fingers always help, and making sure you've got a large area of paper towels laid out to catch droplets! Great mani :]

  6. LOVE IT!!! I need to do a splatter mani asoon. It's been a long time!
I always tape my fingers, or use petroleum jelly around the edges (polish just wipes off if you use this method, but you have to use a generous amount).

  12. How can you hate yellow? It looks so good on you!! I hate splatter mani's (doing them, not seeing them), I've tried every size of straw and I still get big clumps of color and end up practically passing out from blowing (oh my poor hubby) LOL!!!!

    1. I don't know yellow is just a color i stay away from! lol seriously i think I hate doing them too! I used the straw from the Kool-Aid Pouch and seriously at one point i think i sucked up too much paint (Ugh ewww) and the freaking blobs!!! could not control those things!

  15. I just use an old toothbrush to get a fine splatter. Better directional control and less messy than a straw.
