Toxic Gradient & Vintage Roses

It has been so hot in NYC! this humidity and heat is ridiculous! it makes me not want to step out until the sun has gone down. I miss the spring breezy weather :(. Well since I am homeI have time to do my nails more often. Today I have another gradient I bet you guys are tired of seeing gradients all over the internet but I can't get enough of them! This time around as a Base color I used China Glaze-Four Leaf Clover from the Up & Away Collection this color is a Very Bright Green creme finish polish that In the bottle looks Green/Teal which makes it pretty hard to photograph! the color would not show up accurately! but in the pictures below it is pretty close and in real life it is just slightly brighter green and not teal at all The application was flawless I used 3 coats but could have gotten away with 2. For the gradient I used 3 colors CG Four Leaf Clover,Sinful Colors-Olympia & Sinful Colors-Snow me White. The white is not to visible because it just helped Olympia turn into more of a lime greenish color TOXIC. For the roses I used acrylic paints,a dotting tool and a small brush for the leaves.
In the Sunlight
In the Sunlight
In Shade-See how here it looks more green than teal

Flower Power

Hey Dolls! Okay so this is sorta off topic but have you guys seen the show My Strange Addictions? today the episode I saw was based on a girl who drinks nail polish!! WTF how insane is that!? she claims she drinks 5 bottles of nail polish a day and that she even did it while she was expecting a baby that is some crazy S#!*. Okay well back to what this blog is about, my nails! lol today I have here some freehand flowers that i did with acrylic paints and a small brush which I got from one of Robin Moses tutorials I absolutely love all her designs. As a base color I used Spoiled-Are Mermaids Real? This color is absolutely beautiful! it is a purple with tons of gold shimmer in the pictures below I used 3 coats because it tends to be a little bit on the sheer side but when it starts to build up it's absolutely beautiful, check it out.

I hope you enjoyed this post :)

Today I have a Jelly Sandwich for you I used NYX-Alskan Wild a Dark green jelly which can be opaque in 3 coats,it glides so smoothly! As for the glitter I used NYX-Enchanted Forest this glitter nail polish consist of multiple sized hex holographic glitters in a tinted green clear base, I wont lie getting the bigger pieces was a hassle but its mainly because the bottle doesn't seem to consist many. :( but anyways here it is :)

NYX Gradient

The weather has been amazing in NYC lately! skies are blue and sunny, the summer is sneaking its way into spring, I love it! So for today I have Another Gradient for you. This time I used NYX nail polishes, for a dollar these polishes are amazing! probably the best inexpensive nail polish I have ever bought, I want them all! They apply like a dream! no kidding! the formula is probably one of the best I have ever used lol. The color of base I used is NYX-True navy, a beautiful light navy blue jelly that is opaque in 3 coats, For the gradient I used NYX-Lapis a super pretty periwinkle color that is also a jelly but is opaque in 3 coats. To top it all off I added a sliver cheetah print accent nail :)

Here Lapis Looks a lot more baby blue
but in reality it is more purple in real life

Happy Saturday!

Peachy Keen Gradient.

Hey Dolls!, I hope everyone has some nice plans for the weekend! I know I don't lol, study study study for these finals. However I always manage to find the time to paint my nails, today I have a Gradient for you! The base color is China Glaze-Peachy Keen from the Up & Away Collection. This color is absolutely stunning, the perfect orange cream-Popsicle color. Very Vibrant and appealing to the eye, however it took about 4 coats in order to not have any bald spots and on top of that it was a little streaky, but I made it work. Now the color of choice for this pretty color to fade into is China Glaze-Dance Baby, I really love the way this gradient turned out. It's almost as if it was a color changing polish effect because of how nicely it blended, no?
Oh yeah I have a Bonus pic to share with you.
I took it today and really liked the way it came out
these paper cranes hang from the ceiling of my room :)
  Goodnight! :)

Edgy nails

Hey Lovelies today is just a quick post to say hello! and to show you a manicure that I did today which I am loving! this can work for those who don't like black nail polish or think its to boring. With some gold leaf foil you can make that black polish go from blah to BAM lol,all I simply did was paint my nails black, shook up the bag of gold leaf foil then finger by finger pressed the foil against my nail that would stick on the inside of the bag and Voila! then top coat to seal everything off :) Also I want to point out that my nail shape is currently going through changes,in previous post you have seem them go from square to oval to a little bit of edge and now they sorta look to pointy...I'm not sure how to feel about them, what do you guys think does it suit me?
Polish Used:
Sinful Colors-Black On Black (3 coats)

Well that's all for today girls :)

Big Paintings On Little Canvas.

Ladies!, I have a special post to show you today! As some of you may know I love art! specially Abstract, pop-art and anything with trees, birds and COLOR!. now Im no artist but when it comes to my nails I TRY lol, so imagine my amazement when about two weeks ago an artist by the name of Mike Grubb, (a world know artist who is known for his abstract,pop-art and vibrant art work) contacted me!,telling me he had seen my nail art on the page of an artist whose work I had previously replicated. He asked me if I would like to collaborate with him and replicate his art work on my nails! You guys had to see how excited I was!, Within minutes of reading his E-mail I responded telling him I was more than honored and I would LOVE to. After looking at his art I was stoked because the type of art he does is the type of art that I absolutely love and wish I could have all over the walls of my apartment. His work is simply amazing! it seriously reminds me of Andy Warhol art, at the end of this post I will share with you his link, so you can see yourself how awesome his paintings are. Now,the nails, Out of all of his paintings I decide on these two which I really really liked the first is Called Love Birds  and the second, Sunset On Cactus here they are

CG-Flying Dragon (Neon)

Hey Girls! With Summer right around the corner, it seems that everyone is bringing their neon polishes out to play! well I figured I do the same, today what I have to show you lovelies is China Glaze-Flying Dragon (Neon) this polish is from their Ink Collection, To my understanding there is two versions of this nail polish a darker shade and one with a more Fuchsia undertone. I figure that I have the more purple-pinkish one. Okay ladies so this neon purple polish consist of pink and blue glitter which makes this neon polish a little extra special, As you may all know neon's dry rather quickly and with a matte finish, to get complete coverage I needed 3 coats of this bad boy. Formula wise the consistency of this nail polish was good it wasn't runny nor thick it was just right. Neon's are usually hard to capture in pictures but below the color is actually completely accurate to as in person.
Flying Dragon Close up
How do you ladies feel about this polish,
Do any of you have other version?

Thank You For Reading!:D

Tip Toe Pink With Glittah!

Morning Ladies!, I'ts Friday Friday Gotta Love Friday's lol...For today what I have to show you is a simple manicure that has a lot of color! The Base color I used is Milani- Tip Toe Pink This color comes off as soft pink creme But In reality it's a super bright that in person the color almost looks like a neon light pink,Very pretty. However the formula sucked! It was thick and it took about 3 coats for complete coverage. For The Glitter I Used, American Apparel-Galaxy which is a bunch of Large Multi-Colored Hex in a clear base,This too was a bit thick but nothing that can't be worked with.Either way I love the way these two came out looking together, here it is

Thanks For looking! :)
