Can I start this off by saying I HATE the color yellow lol! To me it's just such an ugly color i don't know why, however that doesn't stop me from buying them which is stupid, I guess I am hoping to find a yellow I will actually like, Oh Well the search continues. Today's Yellow polish is Catrice-Twist Of Lemon
Polish Used:
Catrice-Twist Of Lemon
Description:A Shimmer packed sunshine yellow that requires at least 3-4 coats for no VNL.
For the Splatter I Used Acrylic Paints-White,Black-Purple,Yellow
-Sorry I Have No Picture of the color on It's own I forgot to take one before the splatter!
Can I just say that doing this splatter mani was a pain in the A** seriously way to messy.
XOXO

These are pretty! I've tried one splatter mani (Dexter inspired) but it did not come out well, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Yours look awesome, but the mess is a pain. Taping your fingers always help, and making sure you've got a large area of paper towels laid out to catch droplets! Great mani :]
ReplyDeleteThank you Kelly! and great suggestions! my mistake was taping my finger afrer already starting which was pretty dumb of me! lol and i made a mess on my table! thank goodness i used acrylics or else that would've not been pretty!
DeleteOh Wow Diana you put us all to shame, this looks like a masterpiece on nails.
ReplyDeleteNo way Pam You girls do some pretty awesome nails! But thank you so much.
DeletePretty! I love splatters!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous splatter! One of the best that I have ever seen! :)
ReplyDeleteAw!thank you I'm so flattered! :D
DeleteThis looks great!!! I really must try splatter))
ReplyDeleteThank you!, it's a fun look but so time consuming! lol
DeleteLOVE IT!!! I need to do a splatter mani asoon. It's been a long time!
ReplyDeleteI always tape my fingers, or use petroleum jelly around the edges (polish just wipes off if you use this method, but you have to use a generous amount).
Thank You! :D This was my first! Lol but hey the petroleum jelly is a great idea I actually have done that when doing water marbeling!
DeleteI am not a huge fan of yellow either! I don't think it looks good on me. This however looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteI feel like it doesn't suit me either! lol but thank you Meredith :]
DeleteLove what you did!
ReplyDeleteThank You Nicole !
DeleteI'm not keen on yellows, I think it's a really hard colour to wear. I absolutely love this though its just stunning! I can never get the splatter technique to work this well for me x
ReplyDeleteIt really is though! i kept getting blobs instead of splatters it was so frustrating!
DeleteThat looks wicked! I love yellow though :oP It's just so eyecatching
ReplyDeleteThank You! hmm the yellow is pretty eye catching lol
Deletehaha i hate yellow too! but i love this manicure so much! its looks freaking awesome. i did the splatter look once and i keep being too lazy to do it again :-P
ReplyDeleteThank You! seriously i think it will be a while until i try this again! lol
DeleteHow can you hate yellow? It looks so good on you!! I hate splatter mani's (doing them, not seeing them), I've tried every size of straw and I still get big clumps of color and end up practically passing out from blowing (oh my poor hubby) LOL!!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't know yellow is just a color i stay away from! lol seriously i think I hate doing them too! I used the straw from the Kool-Aid Pouch and seriously at one point i think i sucked up too much paint (Ugh ewww) and the freaking blobs!!! could not control those things!
DeleteThat is gorgeous! It looks phenomenal!
ReplyDeleteThank You So Much Brianna <3
DeleteAbsolutely love this & hopefully ill someday have to try this out !!
ReplyDeleteI just use an old toothbrush to get a fine splatter. Better directional control and less messy than a straw.
