Mish Mash Challenge: Untried Nail Art Technique

Mish Mash Challenge Week 4! How are we all doing? Today I am In such a rush so i'll make this short and sweet. Something I have yet to try was the Controlled Paint Splatters where you basically paint the splatters yourself as well as a white tip nail....I NEVER do white tips because there is never a white that doesn't look lumpy because of how many coats I have to you so It can all  even out. In all reality it's not my most favorite mani But it will do...it's not that terrible. For the design I used just acrylic paints....Here is what is supposed to look like splatters to me they look like flowers LOL

PS. I will speak about my nail art contest tomorrow for sure guys !

Toodles off to see all of your designs Girlies!

BG Cosmetics: Strawberry Sunrise

Darlings! Hello! Late post tonight I had a long day at work and ever since I got home I turned on my TV and started watching episodes of Awkward this show is awesome! But On to the polish! I have another Beauty Of the BG Cosmetics Valentine Collection This one is called Strawberry Sunrise (that reminds me of a drink lol), A Fuchsia Pink polish that has a beautiful pearlish/shimmer finish to it, completely Gorgeous accompanying this beautiful color is small holo silver glitters with slightly larger pink glitter that just sparkle like crazy! Formula? Flawless like Buttah! no kidding. Drying time is average and there is hardly any gritty feeling after a few coats (I used 3 to be exact) which is good because all I needed was On coat of SV to smooth it all out.

Love it? Hate it? What are your thoughts?
I for one freaking love it and for $10 this bad boy can be yours at the
OR If you want to save a few bucks Buy the whole set of 3 for $26!

XOXO

Pretty In Pink

Happy New Year My Darlings!!! what have I missed!?? I keep going on these dumb short breaks and it makes me feel like I miss so much! such as what's hot, what's not and things like that and even though I do still paint my nails, I just don't feel like taking my sweet time on designs maybe it's because my nails are still pretty short or because I know they will get ruined at work the very next day. BUT one of my new years resolution is to get back into blogging and re-kindle that nail art passion I had. So without further Ado here is my first post of 2013 :) nothing fancy but something to kinda get me back into the swing of things.
Polishes Used
China Glaze-Dance Baby (2 Coats)
Stripe Rite-Light pink
Black Acrylic Paint.
I know Just one picture what a good way to come back lol!....NOT!
this is only because it was the best one out of all the few I took.
Throughout the next couple of days i'll be experimenting with my new baby! A Nikon D3000
so I will hopefully have more and better quality pictures

Till then Goodnight and hopefully you all haven't lost interest in my blog!
XOXO

Cling Wrap & Half Moons.

I Finally got around to creating a Half Moon Manicure!!! I think that for my first time It didn't turn out so bad. However having to wait until my base color dries so then I can put the circular reinforcements in order to create the half moon can be a little annoying, because if It's not completely dry it literally rips off the base color, so beware! The Color I used for the bottom half of the nail Is China Glaze-Flip Flop Fantasy, I waited a bit and applied one thin coat of Sally Hansen Honey Whip on top of flip flop fantasy and used the cling wrap technique and painted some triangles with some acrylic paints.
BTW: That shade below is not an accurate color of Flip Flop Fantasy In real Life it's a beautiful bright neon pink not A coral like it shows below

Polish Used
-Main Color-Butter London-The Full Monty(3 coats)
-China Glaze-Flip flop fantasy ( 2 coats)
-Sally Hansen-Honey whip
-Acrylic paints( Black & white)
See how much difference lighting makes, my hands don't look as terrible as the post below lol,
however guess what!! today I sold my Canon Xsi! now i'm in search for a real nice camera that takes great macro shots do you ladies have any suggestions?

Pink Sunday

It's Sunday! I hate Sundays :-\,anyways I will keep this short :). This Weekend I filed my nails Round, I have NEVER EVER had round nails, i'm more of the square girl but I guess it was time for a little change lol. My nails are short so the roundness will be a little more obvious throughout the growing process. So yeah for today's manicure I did a pink gradient. I did start with the sponging technique but sometimes with sponging for some reason pieces of the sponge start to stick on my nails. So instead I used my fan brush and created the gradient effect.

What I Used
Sinful Colors-Snow me White
China Glaze-Dance Baby
China Glaze-Traffic Jam
China Glaze-Techno

Close-Up

Enjoy Your Day :D
