31 Day Challenge-Day 4:Color Green

Hello Everyone! sadly my summer came to a complete stop! I started school yesterday boooo! Lol however I must make time for my lovely blog :) today is Day 4 of the 31 Day Challenge and the color is Green! I really love various shades of green and my hubby's favorite color is green...... anyway today I present to you Essence-Snow White:Bashful. To make things Interesting I came up with the idea of making a snake or reptile pattern look which I'm not sure if it quite worked out.
 I used China Glaze-Unpredictable to stamp on this pattern that looked like snake skin (Bundle Monster-215) it was more of a random stamping lol then I used the same pattern and stamped it in black. Idk I think I fell short today!

Polish Used:
Essence-Snow White:Bashful 
Description: A forest green creme packed with gold shimmer! it is absolutely beautiful! I used 2 coats because it did drag just a little bit
China Glaze-Unpredictable (for stamping)
Wet n Wild-Black Creme ( for stamping)

31 Day Challenge-Day 3:Color Yellow

Can I start this off by saying I HATE the color yellow lol! To me it's just such an ugly color i don't know why, however that doesn't stop me from buying them which is stupid, I guess I am hoping to find a yellow I will actually like, Oh Well the search continues. Today's Yellow polish is Catrice-Twist Of Lemon

Description:A Shimmer packed sunshine yellow that requires at least 3-4 coats for no VNL.
For the Splatter I Used Acrylic Paints-White,Black-Purple,Yellow

-Sorry I Have No Picture of the color on It's own I forgot to take one before the splatter!
Can I just say that doing this splatter mani was a pain in the A** seriously way to messy.

Have you tried the splatter Mani yet? if so what are some suggestion for a Less messy way to do it?

On another note i'm in the mood to play some relaxation nature sounds music and sleep!! lol anyways....

I Been Bit By The Indie Bug!

I have been bit by the indie bug! I now find myself browsing through Etsy Obsessing over these hand made little bottles of joy, OMG if I knew how awesome most of the polishes are I would have caved in and bought some a lonnnnnng time ago. For My First Indies I bought 7  KbShimmer's! They got here today! the shipping was so fast! Oh and on another note I became an Ebay Junkie LOL finding great deals on polishes is such a rush ( wow that made me sound like a junkie LOL) I recently won a Bid on Layla Hologram Polishes 6 for $40! being that they are $15.50 a pop I think I got a good deal, No?

I couldn't wait so I used A Polish Introducing

and it applied great,the formula was flawless I did 2 coats over 1 coat of Butter London-Blagger

31 Day Challenge-Day 2: Color Orange

Back with Day 2 of the 31 Day Challenge!, Today's color is Orange....I don't know about you but this color just always screams Halloween to me!!! which makes me kinda shy away from color the hues, UNTIL I bought China Glaze- Orange You Hot? from their summer neon collection this is the nicest Orange Shimmery Neon polish I have ever own I swear that in person it even sorta has these flashes of pink, I love it!

31 Day Challenge-Day 1: Color Red

Today Is the Start of the 31 day challenge! if you remember in my last post I mentioned that this would not be an everyday challenge so you will be seeing post for this challenge every 3 days & if you are interested in joining you still can! Just head over to Kimber'sLaquerKorner and let her know i'm sure she will be glad to add you to the list :). So lets Begin Shall we? Day 1 is The Color Red! I'm not much of red on my nails type of gal but when I buy red polishes I make sure that they are bright reds! Like this one I have on.

Polish Used: 
Revlon-Red Hot Tamale 
Description: Bright Red Crelly that applies nicely in 2 coats I applied 3 because my nail line was still a bit visible. The formula on this is smooth however I did have some bubbling :( but nothing a good top coat can't cover.

For fun I did the fishtail braid on my ring finger, hm not so bad for a first time, no? lol

NOTD:That Purp!

Ello Everybody!, just a quick post to show you my NOTD, Purple happens to be my favorite color but for some reason when I wear it on my nails it just doesn't look right, hm maybe that's just me. The color I went with today is China Glaze-Grape Pop From the Up & Away Collection, I really love this color but I couldn't capture it well with my "camera" mind you I used my I-phone 4s for all my pictures lol. however IRL this color is a vibrant true deep purple creme. & it applied beautifully

Something Bright

Hey beauties, how are you all doing today!? I'm feeling pretty blah, school is starting up again soon and   i'm not really looking forward to it, It's going to take some time to get back into the swing of things. Plus Color Club really needs to put out their Holo Hues ASAP lol .However in better news I joined the 31 day challenge over at Kimber'slaquerkorner :) what I really liked about hers is that it's not every day she decided to do it every 3 days which in my opinion is great! & i'm really looking forward to it :).
anyways on to today's nails I decided to do a very bright manicure with geometrical shapes, take a look.

Use Your Fan Brush

If there was one thing I didn't know how to use when I received my set of nail art brushes was the......Fan Brush, Lol like seriously I was like "what the hell is this"..to me it was a brush that had no use until today, I finally brought it out to play. I started by first painting my nails with a base color of choice(China Glaze-Elephant Walk) then I took the fan brush and dipped the tips into the acrylic paint, wiped off the excess and lightly brushed it against my nails. & this is what I ended up looking like. Enjoy :)

Polish Used
-China Glaze-Elephant Walk ( 2 coats)
-green,gold,navy blue, purple,lilac,
orange,white,gold: Acrylic Paint. ( for brush strokes)

Acid Denim Wash And Aztec Print

I've been stuck in such a funk lately, it's like I'm completely washed out of ideas for nail art and nothing just seems to look right :( However I finally pulled it together a bit and came up with this. Denim Wash And Aztec Print,  for my pinky, middle & thumb I did the Cling Wrap Technique and for the ring finger and pointer I did a reverse Denim wash Gradient

Ivader zim Guest Nails

Hey Pretties Sorry I haven't been posting lately, I have actually been working on a DIY project, I have been wanting a nice storage space for my  nail polishes because I hate having them in drawers plus it's much easier to see what you have when they are nicely displayed,no? Anyways so I went all out and built a shelf from scratch with wood (well technically my father built it for me) lol I just made it pretty. Once I have it up on the wall I will show you ladies and give you measurements and such!.
So On to nails, Unfortunately yesterday I broke my pinky nail so I will most likely be getting an extension on it today, if possible. Until Then here are my 12 yr old sisters nails which I did on her request, Invader Zim Nails. (well this is Gir, instead of Zim, lol)

Polish Used: Bettina-Purple(2 coats)
Description-This purple creme is absolutely beautiful even though there is nothing special about it the formula was AMAZING, I used 2 coats and it dried fairly quick.
Glitter Polish: Jordana-Cosmic ( one coat)

Mattese Elite-Je T'Aime

Hey darlings, today I have a polish that most of you will likely be lemming for :P I recently stopped by Ricky's NYC which is a Beauty Supply shop all year around except on October because then it becomes one of the most visited costume shops in the city. Anyways they carry a brand called Mattese Elite which to my understanding is exclusive to Ricky's.  When I visited I came across their nail polish display and found this beauty all by itself called Je T'Aime this is from the Mattese Elite Collection Called Me Amour.

Description- Small Gold hex Iridescent glitter mixed in with smaller circular Iridescent glitter in a clear base that when layered over a dark base color shifts from green to hints of purple,orange and blue.
